Rachel West Kramer is a Christian Vocal Artist and Speaker with Hands of Love Ministry and Electric Station Records. She sings and speaks throughout the United States for various concerts, conferences, prayer breakfasts and women’s events.

Over the past several years, she has released 5 CD projects including her latest project arranged by David Clydesdale entitled, Majestic Glory! Together with her husband, Scott and daughter Maria, they travel and share God’s love and salvation through their family’s music group, The Kramers.

Also for 20 years now, they’ve hosted the popular RiverLife Gospel Music Lunch and Dinner Cruises aboard the Spirit of Peoria Riverboat along Peoria’s beautiful riverfront.

In addition to their active ministry schedule, they also host an ongoing weekly Bible Study in their home community of Germantown Hills, IL.

Closest to their hearts are their two children, Maria and Weston. Scott & Rachel are thankful for the gift of their son, Weston, who was diagnosed as having autism when he was two years old. The LORD has continued to bring much healing and progress in Weston’s special life.

As a wife, mother, friend and Christian artist, Rachel possesses a genuine love and compassion for others as she communicates so powerfully through song and spoken words. Her heart for the LORD and her steadfast walk with Him is evident as she proclaims His love and truth not only in her music but also in her everyday life.

Family background: Rachel grew up in an East Peoria, IL neighborhood along the Illinois River and currently resides in Germantown Hills, IL with her family.

Schooling: Rachel graduated from Bradley University in Peoria, IL with a degree in vocal performance, also receiving the Presser Award for outstanding musicianship. It was in her first week of college when a staff member from Campus Crusade for Christ shared the life-changing Gospel message with Rachel and she placed her trust in Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at the age of 18 yrs.

Missions: During her college career, Rachel toured with the Continental Singers – all across the United States as well as into Canada, Holland, Denmark, Germany and Norway.

Past work experience: Both Scott and Rachel served on staff at their home church, Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria, IL – Scott was the Director of Communications and Rachel was the Administrative Assistant of Music Ministry. They also led the praise & worship music for 12 years.  As a married couple, Scott and Rachel have been in music and speaking ministry since 1995.

Hosting RiverLife Gospel Music Dinner Cruises: In 1996, Scott and Rachel began hosting outreach cruises aboard the Spirit of Peoria Riverboat called RiverLife.  Now in its 21st season of lunch concert cruises, nearly every excursion is sold out to capacity and is an unique platform for the Kramer’s to share the message of God’s love and salvation with every guest in attendance.

Hands of Love Ministry: In 1998, they founded the non-profit evangelistic outreach organization, Hands of Love Ministry and went full-time in 2000. Currently, they share in upward to 200 events per year. The Kramer’s possess a genuine passion and love for the LORD, hearts for people to know Christ personally and a desire to refresh and encourage believers in their faith journeys.

Praise and Worship Leaders/Bible Studies: For twelve years, Scott and Rachel led praise and worship in their home church, Grace Presbyterian in Peoria, IL which airs their worship services on weekly television and radio broadcasts. Rachel and her daughter Maria are privileged to lead ongoing Women’s Bible Studies. This Bible Study first started in their living room in 2005 and continues to be a very fruitful part of this ministry! Each week, approximately 75 women of all ages, backgrounds and denominations gather weekly to pursue God through the pages of His Holy Word.

National Prayer Breakfast: In 2003, Rachel traveled to Washington, DC with the Grace Singers and was privileged to sing “How Great Thou Art” at the National Prayer Breakfast with President George W. and First Lady Bush in attendance.

Recording Projects: Once they completed and released her first solo album, Redeeming Love, Scott and Rachel began working on her new Christmas album, On This Silent Holy Night. Then, the following fall, they released Jesus Is Calling – Hymns to Draw Us Nearer album. The worship album, Resounding Joy, was released in January, 2012. In the fall of 2012, they hosted a Good News Music Radio Concert in Louisville, KY and released the LIVE recording of the concert entitled, Rise Up, Rejoice! in 2013. Currently, Rachel has released a new project arranged by David T. Clydesdale entitled, Majestic Glory. This was released in January, 2015 along the LIVE recording of the Good News Music Radio concert taped in Anderson, IN entitled, Victory in Jesus! Their latest family project entitled, Revive Us Again, was released in March of 2016.
